Lipo Faulty - Dead Cell or Low Voltage

Lipo Faulty - Dead Cell or Low Voltage

Problem: Brand new Lipo battery had a dead cell (overall voltage significantly lower than advertised) or once of the cells have a low voltage (more than 1-2 Volts)
Warning:  If you suspect your battery is faulty do not use or attempt to charge your lipo, doing so can void any warranty or potentially be dangerous

Lipo batteries are considered consumable items and do not have the same 180 day warranty as our other products.  That said if you receive a lipo that has a dead cell or a cell that has considerable lower voltage within 7 days of receiving your order we will be able to help.
Solution:  Please contact us within 7 day of you receiving your order and include the specific photos showing the issue and we will be able to get the issue resolved for you.  After the 7 day period it is assumed that you have already used the product and cannot offer any refunds/replacement.

Photos/Info that we need in your email:

Photos we need in order for a manufacturer to accept a warranty claim

1. Your order number, and battery that was ordered.
2. Photo showing the battery individual cell voltages so we can see which cell is faulty as shown below.

3. If the battery itself has a barcode/QR code (such as Gensace Batteries) please include a photo showing this as we need this to track which batch the battery was from.  Examples shown below:

Please collect this info and send it to us in an email and we will get the battery issue sorted for you (either a refund or replacement depending on the product brand dead cell policy)
