Returning Lithium Batteries to Unmanned Tech (Unwanted/Change of Mind Returns)
Unmanned Tech accepts returns of lithium batteries for change of mind purposes as long as they meet our return conditions and time window as described in our
Change Of Mind Returns Policy. This guide helps to explain some of the key conditions for returning consumable/hazardous goods back to us when you change your mind.
Return Eligibility Requirements
- The battery must be in its original, unopened packaging
- The product must be completely unused
- All original seals must remain intact
- Returns must be initiated within the standard return period

Important Safety Notice
- For safety and regulatory compliance, opened batteries cannot be accepted for return. This policy exists because batteries are classified as consumable items, and once opened, their condition cannot be guaranteed.
- It is not allowed to ship faulty batteries through the mail

Currently, UPS provides one of the most accessible services for consumer battery returns, but you must follow their specific guidelines to ensure safe transport.

- Confirm your chosen courier accepts lithium battery shipments (usually only available for ground only couriers)
- Never ship batteries via standard postal services

- You will most likely also need to attach a hazardous materials sticker to your parcel.
