How to get your Caddx Avatar HD Goggles X Extension Module

Background: Caddx has recently announced an important update for customers using the Avatar HD Goggles X. On September 9th, 2024, Caddx released an official statement regarding an extension module that will be made available for customers whose goggles do not have built-in head tracking.

What You Need to Know:

  • Extension Module Availability:
    Caddx will provide extension modules to dealers, including us, to address the lack of built-in head tracking in the affected Avatar HD Goggles X units.

  • Delivery Timeline:
    The extension modules will be shipped to us along with other Caddx products when we place new orders. Please note that this may result in some delays in receiving the modules. We will ship the modules to affected customers as soon as we receive them.

  • Cost Information:
    Caddx is providing these extension modules free of charge. However, customers will need to cover the shipping costs from our location to theirs.

  • Compatibility Note:
    This extension module is only compatible with the Avatar HD Goggles X that do not have built-in head tracking. Please check your unit to ensure it is affected by this issue before requesting a replacement.

How to Get Your Replacement:

Any orders for goggles placed before 9 September 2024 may be ellidgeable to receive the goggles X extension module from us.  If your Avatar HD Goggles X is affected by this issue, we will send a replacement module free of charge (you will just need to pay shipping cost).

  1. Please contact us with the order number for your Goggles X units
  2. Once confirmed we will direct you to place a new order for the shipping fees here - https://www.unmannedtechshop.co.uk/product/return-shipping/, this allows you to easily add your delivery address info and pay for the shipping costs (you can also add other items at the same time).
  3. Email us with the new order number and we will add the goggles X extension module to the order and get it shipped out to you.
